Somebody Prayed was based on a true story. Mike's nephew was found lifeless in shopping center parking lot. No heartbeat, no brain waves. For three days the hospital kept him on life support waiting for his father to get back in town from an out of state trip. But God! (Prayer chains were started all over the country). 
On the third day Mike recalls waking up very early with the words to this song. Later that same day a report from the hospital came in that someone noticed a toe twitch, the next day eye movement. Within a week, he walked out of the hospital one hundred percent whole. No side effects! That's the power of prayer!
